RED is a four-day exhibition at Actual Size gallery in Chinatown, Los Angeles. A collaborative work between artists Ian Stanton and Akhila Maya, the show encourages viewers to double take, think twice about what is on display, and either leave it behind or allow it to remain a part of a drifting dialogue.

 

Akhila Maya was born in 1989. Raised in Northern California, she now attends the University of Southern California where she is pursuing a

BFA in Fine Arts. At present, she is considering the role of the question or query in her practice, and exploring the ways in which it can be

realized.

 

Ian Stanton is an American artist born in Hong Kong in 1989.He is currently living in Los Angeles, California where he is studying Fine Arts

at the University of Southern California.
